ఫెటిషిజం ఒక జిడ్డు లాంటి మానసిక రుగ్మత ! ఈ సమస్య ఉన్న వారికి చికిత్స చేయ వచ్చు ! కానీ ఒక రోజో , రెండు రోజులో చికిత్స చేయించుకుంటే సరిపోదు ! దీర్ఘకాలికం గా , అంటే , కొన్ని నెలలూ , సంవత్సరాల తరబడీ చేయించుకుంటే , ఆ చికిత్స కు ఫలితం ఉంటుంది !
సాధారణం గా చికిత్స , మానసిక చికిత్స అంటే సైకోథెరపీ , మంచి ఫలితాలను ఇస్తుంది !
కొన్ని రకాలైన మందులు కూడా , కొంత వరకూ , పదే పదే వచ్చే , చెడు ఆలోచనలను తగ్గిస్తాయి !
ఫలితాలు చాలా బాగా ఉండాలనుకుంటే , సైకో థెరపీ తో పాటుగా , మందులు కూడా తీసుకోవాలి !
ఈ సైకో థెరపీ కానీ మందులు కానీ , క్షుద్ర విద్యలు చేసే వారూ , చేత బడులు చేసే వారూ కాకుండా ,
అనుభవజ్ఞులైన , స్పెషలిస్ట్ డాక్టర్ ల వద్ద తీసుకుంటే బాగుంటుంది !
ఈ కండిషన్ , ప్రధానం గా యువకులలో ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి , కొన్ని , కొన్ని ప్రత్యేకమైన కేసులలో
పురుష హార్మోను లను తగ్గించే మందులు కూడా పైన చెప్పిన చికిత్సా పద్ధతు లల్లో కలపడం జరుగుంది !

కొన్ని ప్రత్యేక మైన , మొండి కేసుల్లో , కామ పరమైన ఆలోచనలు ఎక్కువ అవుతూ ఉన్నప్పుడు , వాటిని వెంటనే ‘ చల్లార్చడానికి ‘ ఒక దుర్గంధమైన వాసన ను పేషేంట్ ఉన్న గది లో ప్రవేశ పెట్టడం లాంటి చికిత్సలు కూడా చేస్తూ ఉంటారు !
ఫెటిషిజం అనే రుగ్మతను , దాని తీవ్రతనూ , గుర్తించడం , అందుకు తగిన చికిత్స తీసుకోవడం ,
నిపుణులైన వైద్యుల వద్దనే చేయాలి !

ఇక దీనిని ఒక రుగ్మత గా గుర్తించడం సామాన్యం గా భారత దేశం లో జరగదు ! కాక పొతే , మానసిక వైద్యం మీద , ఈ మధ్య , భారత దేశం లో అవగాహన పెరుగుతూ ఉంది కదా !
స్త్రీ హింస , స్త్రీల పైన అత్యాచారాలు జరుపుతున్న పురుషులే , తాము ఏ తప్పూ చేయట్లేదనుకుంటూ , ధీమా గా తిరుగుతున్న నేటి భారత సమాజం లో, ఫెటిషిజం గురించి పట్టించుకునే వారెవరుంటారు ?!
స్త్రీలలో కలిగే మానసిక రుగ్మతల గురించి కూడా ముందు ముందు టపాలు వేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తాను !
నాకో అనుమానమొచ్చేసిందండి! ఈ రుగ్మత 99 శాతం మంది పురుషులలో ఉంటుందా? లేక రుగ్మత 99 శాతం పురుషులలో ఒక శాతం స్త్రీలలో ఉంటుందా?

According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), sexual interests fall into two categories: normal (normophilic) and anomalous (paraphilic).
Researchers asked 1,040 Quebec residents, representative of the general population, about their experiences of sexual behaviour considered abnormal by the DSM-5.
The study, published in The Journal of Sex Research, found that of the eight types of anomalous behaviour listed in the DSM-5, four were found to be neither rare or unusual among the experiences and desires reported by men and women.

Such sexually deviant behaiviour is not recognized adequately in India, but needs treatment only when such behaviour is significantly interfering in patient’s daily life and causing distress.
Normally it is difficult to recognise such pepole.They themseves won’t feel it is a decease and won’t reveal because of shy. Near relatives should recognise and arrange treatment. Cases of extremity are leading to violence and crime.
